1. Information We Collect

When you use ScoreMyAds, we collect:

• Account information: Name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account.
• Google Ads data (read): Campaign performance, keywords, search terms, ad copy, placements and account settings.
• Google Ads data (write): If you subscribe to Keyword Cleaner and explicitly approve an exclusion, we add negative keywords to shared exclusion lists we create, or directly to Performance Max campaigns. We never modify budgets, bids, ads or targeting, and we never write into exclusion lists we did not create. Every exclusion is recorded and reversible from your dashboard.
• Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and interactions with our service.
• Payment data: Processed securely by Paddle. We do not store credit card numbers.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To generate your Google Ads health score and audit reports.
• To provide personalized recommendations and action plans.
• To send score alerts and monitoring notifications (if subscribed).
• To improve our service and develop new features.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Anthropic (Claude API): Search terms, campaign names and performance metrics from your Google Ads account are sent to Anthropic's API so the model can judge which queries are irrelevant to your business. Search terms are sent as written, because a search term stripped of its wording carries no meaning to analyse. Anthropic does not train its models on data submitted through its API. We never send your name, email, billing details or Google credentials.
• Paddle: For payment processing.
• Neon: For secure database hosting.

4. Data Security

Your data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest. We use industry-standard security practices and regular security audits.

5. Data Retention

We retain your Google Ads data for as long as your account is active, and delete it within 90 days of account closure. Raw search-term data older than 12 months is deleted automatically. You can request deletion at any time — see section 8.

7. Google API Disclosure

ScoreMyAds' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically, we affirm that data obtained through the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords scope is:

• used only to provide the audit and Keyword Cleaner features you requested;
• never sold, rented, or transferred for advertising, credit assessment, or lending purposes;
• never used to train generalized artificial intelligence models;
• read by a human only when you explicitly ask us to troubleshoot your account, or where required by law.

8. Revoking Access and Deleting Your Data

You can withdraw our access to your Google Ads account at any time, without contacting us, from your Google account permissions page. Revoking access stops all reading and writing immediately.

Exclusions already applied to your Google Ads account remain in place — they are your account's settings, not ours. You can remove them from the Keyword Cleaner activity log before revoking, or directly in the Google Ads interface afterwards.

To have the Google Ads data we hold erased, email support@scoremyads.app. We delete it within 30 days, and automatically within 90 days of an account being closed.

9. Refund Policy

All paid plans come with a 14-day refund guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, contact us at support@scoremyads.app within 14 days for a full refund. Refunds are processed through Paddle and typically take 5–10 business days.
